Where can I get help now the Sanctuary is closed?

Marylebone Project, 4 July 2025

The Sanctuary – the Marylebone Project’s 24-7 drop-in supporting vulnerable women in London – has sadly closed on the 4th July 2025. 

This means that you can no longer attend any classes, or get support from the centre, unless you are living at the Marylebone Project.

If you need help, food or are sleeping rough, you can:

  • Make an alert for yourself with Streetlink.
  • Report yourself to your local council as homeless
  • Call the London Shelter housing advice line:
    25 years and over: 0344 515 1540
    Under 25: 0330 053 6091
  • Visit a drop-in centre (see below)
  • Visit a foodbank if you need food (see below)

FOOD BANKS

North Paddington Foodbank

They provide emergency food with supermarket voucher:
£25 for 1 person
£30 for 2 people
£45 for 3 people
They also support women and families with period products.

Kentish Town Foodbank

Opening times: Thursday 10:30 – 1:30pm
The foodbank provide emergency food for everyone comes with a valid foodbank voucher. You are welcomed by volunteers with a warm drink or a free hot meal.
They are also able to connect you to agencies who are able to help you.
